"Health is a vehicle, not a destination"
~Joshua Rosenthal

I have always been interested in health and nutrition and the effects of food on our bodies. Having worked in the health and safety field for many years, it was my job to help companies keep their employees safe on and off the job. Merging these ideas and experiences made perfect sense, that's when I decided to go back to school and learn more about health and wellness from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York.

Becoming a holistic Health Coach has made me more aware of the benefits of eating healthy organic foods and how they not only prevent diseases but also help to heal them as well. I want to pass this knowledge onto everyone I know especially my family and friends, because my wish is for everyone to be healthy and have a long and happy life. I truly believe this can be accomplished by eating a healthy diet, being active, getting plenty of rest, spending time with people you love and having the confidence to know that a healthy lifestyle is really attainable.

Our bodies are incredible vehicles that are made to be healthy. The body is always trying to heal and correct itself. What we put inside helps to keep our body running smoothly and efficiently. Since we only have one body for as long as we live on this earth, shouldn't we want what's best for it?

"You can't keep one disease and heal two others. When the body heals, it heals everything!" ~Charlotte Gerson
